Amref International Training Centre (AITC) is the foundational unit and Technical Vocational arm of Amref International University (AMIU). Its establishment was driven by the urgent need to address the critical shortage of skilled human resources for health (HRH) in Africa, particularly among mid-level and frontline health workers. The Centre offers specialized training in key areas including Counselling Psychology, Environmental Technology, and Pharmaceutical Technology, equipping learners with practical skills to respond to emerging health and community needs.
