The Diploma in Nursing – Upgrading Enrolled Nurse Midwives (EN/M) to Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse (KRCHN) at Amref International University is a 2½-year part-time programme designed for practicing enrolled nurses and midwives seeking to advance their qualifications. Delivered through a blended model of face-to-face sessions and e-learning, the course offers flexibility for working professionals. With intakes in April and August, the programme equips learners with advanced knowledge and competencies in community health nursing, preparing them to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care across diverse healthcare settings
Applicants must meet either of the following criteria:
Be a Kenya Enrolled Community Health Nurse (KECHN)
Be an Enrolled Nurse/Midwife (EN/M)
