The Environmental Technologist Level 6 consists of competencies that a person requires working in an environmental sector. It entails Performing Environmental Waste Management, Monitoring Environmental Pollution, Maintaining Environmental Ecology, Monitoring Climate Change, Monitoring Natural Resources, Performing Environmental Safeguards and Compliance, Performing Environmental Planning andManagement, Carrying Out Eco-Toxicology and Conducting Scientific Research.
An individual entering this course should have any of the following minimum requirements:
a) Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C- (Minus),
OR
b) Environmental Technology level 5 or related qualification
c) Equivalent qualification asdeterminedby the Technical and Vocational and Training
Authority (TVETA)
d) Any other International qualifications should get approval from the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA)
