This course equips learners with the knowledge and practical skills needed to address environmental challenges through sustainable resource management, pollution control, environmental monitoring, and conservation practices. The course also prepares graduates to apply environmental regulations, conduct environmental assessments, implement waste management solutions, and support sustainable development initiatives.
An individual entering this course should have the following minimum requirements:
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) overall mean grade C- (minus)
or
Level 5 qualification in Environmental Technology
or
Any other qualification equivalent to that of Environmental Technology Level 5 as determined by TVET regulators and any other relevant professional bodies
Or
Any other international qualifications should get approval from the Kenya National Qualification Authority (KNQA)
Course Duration: 2 academic years (7 trimesters)
Mode of Delivery: Modular, on campus (Monday – Friday)
Intakes: January, May, and September
