Diploma in Health Records and IT Level 6 is a competency-based TVETA approved program that is offered at Amref International Training Center (The Amref International University-Tvet Directorate).
The course is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, attitudes and competencies necessary to establish, manage and maintain medical records. The student will also gains an understanding of the principles of health information management and the complexity of the healthcare systems, both in private and public sectors of the economy.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

An individual entering this course should have any of the following minimum\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

requirements:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

a) Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with mean Grade of C and C\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

in English\/Kiswahili, D+ in Biology\/Biological Sciences, C- in Mathematics and\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

C- in any one of the following: Physics, Chemistry, Computer Studies, Agriculture,\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Home Science, Economics, Geography,\u00a0Commerce\u00a0and Business Studies.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Or<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

b) KNQF level 5 Certificate in Health Records and Information Technology.<\/span><\/p>

c)Any other international qualifications to get approval from the KNQA (Kenya National Qualification Authority).<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

The\u00a0programme\u00a0for those admitted shall extend for a minimum of Three-year academic\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
